Obituary of Nancy A. Burke

Nancy was born on March 25 1928 to Millie and Vincent Arichello in New Haven, CT. She passed away after complications from a stroke on December 17th in Pinellas Park, FL . She is predeceased by her husband of 42 years John O. Burke and her grandson Keith MacCollom. She was the last of 8 siblings to pass away. Nancy moved to Florida after marrying John Burke. She is survived by their 5 children; Elaine and (Stuart) MacCollom, Dr. Michael and (Lisa) Burke, Deborah and (Jim) Emmons, Pamela Emmons, and Patrick and (Tara) Burke, 15 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren. She worked at JByrons for many years then spent her retirement volunteering at Freedom Square Retirement center, Ronald McDonald House, and St Petersburg Senior Center. She was a faithful member of Cornerstone Community Church where she engaged in regular support for their Grief Share Group for many years and then enjoyed the fellowship of The Heritage Group. Nancy enjoyed traveling with friends and spending time with her children grandchildren and great- grands, including her newest twin great- grands Maddie and Mac West. We were all very blessed to have had Nancy, Mom, Nanny, and great-Nanny for these 92 years. How wonderful to know that she joins her beloved John and grandson Keith in heaven with Jesus.
