Obituary of Gary Thomas Young

Gary Thomas Young died unexpectedly in his home in Safety Harbor, Florida, January 23rd, 2021 at the age of 65. Gary is survived by his daughter, Kelly Marie Young (32); his two granddaughters, Chloe(9) and Jaida(2); his former wife, Linda Young; his stepmother, Karen Young; his sister, Laura Comier (all of Florida) and his sister, Kathy Wolff of California. He also leaves behind a sister-in-law; brothers-in-law; nieces; nephews; and one of his dearest friends of many years, Leigh Taylor, of Florida. He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Marcus Young; his mother, Patricia Ann Young; and recently, his older brother, Robert Young of Florida. Gary was born on December 18th 1955 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was known for his many years of hard work as a heavy equipment operator and was your go to mechanic who could fix just about anything. He loved his family and friends dearly and enjoyed time spent on the water whether it be boating, fishing or just relaxing. In his younger years he enjoyed going to hunt camp with his buddies. Although no longer with us, Gary will forever be in our hearts.
